Architecture - Granada

There are some really lovely buildings in downtown Granada. Here are photos of just a few. The large arch is the Elvira Gate, one of the original entrances to the city. There is also a photo of the spout of one of the many water basins and fountains throughout the city. I wonder if some of them are remnants of the Arabic water cisterns that were present at every mosque? They certainly continue the Moorish love of water and fountains.
