Mother’s Day Tea at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market

Tea, Champagne and Orchestral Music

There is something very civilized about sitting down for tea and champagne and finger food with an orchestra playing in the background. I know that my mother would have enjoyed it – maybe yours will too.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at 12 noon on Sunday, May 8 at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market. The menu includes finger sandwiches (egg salad, smoked salmon, cucumber), scones, cupcakes and tartlets, pots of tea and an optional glass of sparkling wine.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Saskatoon String Orchestra.

The cost is $25 plus tax per person for the Classic Tea or $31 plus tax for Champagne Tea.

Call 384-6262 or visit the Farmers’ Market website to reserve a table.

Wish I could be there. Sounds like an elegant way to celebrate.
